SuzukiIn pursuance of the terms and conditions of the Joint Venture Agreement executed between Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan (SMC) and Pakistan Automobile Corporation (PACO), Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited (PSMCL) was incorporated as a public limited company in August 1983.On completion of first phase of this plant in early 1990,in- house assembly of all types of Suzuki engines started. The new plant was completed in 1992, on its completion all Suzuki products were transferred to new plant and three box 1300cc Margalla car was also added to its range of production.In September 1992 the company was privatized and placed directly under the Japanese Management.With the intensifying market demand the production capacity was further enhanced to 80,000 vehicles per year (2005), 120,000 vehicles (2006) and 150,000 vehicles per year (2007).Till June 2008, 740,828 vehicles production have been achieved from this plant.
